The puppies are learning to walk and some of them have finally found their little voices. We seem to be hearing the first little barks and growls. Mildred’s eyes are wide open, others are only open a tiny fraction yet.

The sense of huge new sensations is in the air and we are looking forward to more great progress towards playful times ahead.

At the oment they still make one big pile of fur out of themselves and make a run for mother’s milk.


Highlights today include Jude’s rolling ability and his tendency to sleep on his back.

In a serious incident the frying pan in which we made the daily scrambled eggs lunch was raided first by Greta and then by Wilma and licked clean within an inch of its life.
